ABOUT US

Our Mission…

To excite and influence positive change within our community.

Our Story…

Bobby Satre was a DJ and close friend of Sugarcube & Yonderville’s founder Maxwell Stone. Bobby struggled with opiate abuse for many years and it eventually led to his death. After Bob’s passing his mother Moira Satre started a nonprofit foundation called CAYA, Come As You Are, to educate and prevent opiate abuse in the Virginia area. Max was introduced to Verdun, The 2017 & 2018 Yonderville Property, while DJing CAYA’s annual “Run For Your Life” 5k. After the event Moira introduced Max to Verdun’s management and talks of a festival began.

After much discussion and many long nights a plan was formed for the first annual Yonderville Music Festival (2017). Because of CAYA’s support, Yonderville has the ability to make an impact on the community and inspire positive change along the way.

Moral of the story…

All of us will experience tragedy throughout our lives but It’s up to us to decide what we do with it. Bob and many others have lost their lives due to the opioid epidemic and It’s our mission to make an impact on those at risk and suffering.
